Poppets
A Heritage for White Box: Dungeon Adventures
I love muppets. You love muppets. Agranak Studios, one of my favorite YouTube Channels, loves muppets. So, here’s totally not a muppet heritage for White Box: Dungeon Adventures. All images in this post are taken from Agranak Studio’s “Dungeons and Puppets” series of videos. Subscribe. DM Wisdom (yes, that’s his real name) is a great dude.
Poppets are a chaotic people covered in fur-like flocking or long hair that ranges in color from that of human flesh tones to the wildest colors imaginable. They have large, expressive eyes and wide mouths which they use to great effect via near perpetual proclamations of excitement. Though they never stand taller than a dwarf, no one has been able to surmise their exact height, as somehow they always seem to be standing behind an obstructing object that conceals them from the waist down.
Poppet Heritage Abilities
Class Restrictions: Poppets may advance to 3rd level as a fighter or magic-user.
Weapon Restrictions: Because of their small size poppets cannot use large two-handed weapons like polearms, battle axes, and longbows.
How Are You Not Dead?: When reduced to 0 HP, Poppets who make a saving throw are restored to full Hit Points, but reduce their Wisdom Ability Score by 1d6. They are killed this this saving throw is failed or their Wisdom is reduced to 0.
Perpetual Leg Concealment: Poppets receive +2 to AC.
Saving Throw: Poppets receive a +1 bonus on all saving throws.
Languages: Poppets speak the common tongue, but are loud, expressive, and incapable of whispering.

Now this is the kind of nonsense I can get behind. The only thing to be done is to immediately run a Muppets Against the Giants campaign featuring one human fighter and a whole bunch of muppets. Two players must play Statler and Waldorf: ‘These giants sure are big!’ ‘The only thing bigger is the smell! Oh, ho ho!’
